
According to the Autosport website, Formula 1 management has decided to scrap the idea of a joint presentation of the cars ahead of the 2026 season, which is due to the transition to a new technical regulation.
It's worth noting that in 2025, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the races, a large event was held in London showing new cars and liveries from all participating teams. However, before the start of the new season, teams will prepare their cars according to the new regulations, as reported by a source.
After nine races in the current Formula 1 season, Australian driver Oscar Piastri from McLaren leads the personal standings with 186 points, while his teammate, British driver Lando Norris, is in second place with 176 points. Rounding out the top three is the reigning world champion, Dutch driver Max Verstappen from Oracle Red Bull Racing, with 137 points.
In an interview with GPblog on June 3, Verstappen admitted that he is not competing for the championship title in 2025 because every race has been challenging for him.
On June 10, the press service of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) announced the schedule for the 2026 Formula 1 season.
