Max Verstappen, the Dutch driver of the Austrian Red Bull team, responded to a question about his potential one-race disqualification from Formula One.
I mean there’s nothing that you can do about it. So we’ll just focus ahead, try to do the best we can every single time. It’s not changing my approach and I cannot speak for others. If you look at it in general, I mean missing a race is not ideal but it’s not the end of the world.
At the moment Max Verstappen has 11 penalty points, and if before June 29, when two of them are canceled, he will get another one, he will be suspended for one stage of the championship.
Note that Max Verstappen is third in the world championship individual standings, 49 points behind the leader, Austrian racer of McLaren Oscar Piastri.
The next stage of the season will be held on Sunday, June 15, in the Grand Prix of Canada.
Earlier the names of Red Bull drivers who can replace Max Verstappen in case of his disqualification became known.
In other news, the designer Guenther Steiner spoke in favor of disqualification of the Dutch driver after the incident at the Spanish Grand Prix.
