Former midfielder for Real Madrid, Manchester United, and the England national team, David Beckham, believes that Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal has come closest to matching the level of Argentine star Lionel Messi.
This season, the 17-year-old forward has scored 15 goals and provided 21 assists across all tournaments. Yamal has already won the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de España this season, also winning Euro 2024 in summer.
