Fenerbahce Considers Pulling Out Of Turkish League After Clash With Trabzonspor Fans

Turkish Fenerbahce could withdraw from the local championship after an attack by Trabzonspor fans in a recent match, the club's website reports.

The Istanbul players won 3-2 in the away game, after which the dissatisfied fans of their opponents ran onto the field, creating a mass brawl. Trabzonspor fans also planned to attack Fenerbahce players at the airport.

It is reported that Fenerbahce's leadership will discuss the future of the club in the local championship at a board of directors meeting on April 2.

With 79 points after 30 rounds, Fenerbahce occupies second place in the league table, trailing Galatasaray by two points.
