Renowned Portuguese agent Paulo Barbosa reacted to information that Portugal national team player João Félix can leave Atletico after the end of the World Cup in Qatar.
It is known in Portugal that the player is unhappy with his position in the club and he wants to move to another club, but we don't know Atletico's position. It is still unknown whether the club will let him go, because they paid a lot of money to Benfica for his transfer, and one needs to have an offer to move to another club. I doubt Felix will want to go to Manchester United, I also doubt the interest of Bayern and PSG. This matter should be approached pragmatically. What matters is how he plays at the World Cup.
"He hasn't played much in La Liga this year, so it's understandable that he's not happy. Felix really wants to find a new club. At least they will demand more than €90 million for him, it won't be easy. On the other hand, he played one match at the World Cup against the national team of Ghana, if he does well in the tournament, there will be good options," said Barbosa.
Earlier the media reported that Félix wants to change the club's residency in the near future and has already asked his agent to work through possible options. The decision to leave Atletico could be linked to a conflict between the Portugal player and the Argentinian coach Diego Simeone.
