Manchester United statement
Manchester United sees the media coverage of Cristiano Ronaldo's interview. The club will consider a response once all the facts have been established. We remain focused on preparing for the second half of the season and maintaining the momentum, belief and unity between players, coach, staff and fans.

In an interview with Morgan, the Portuguese player said that the club officials forced him to leave the team, that he has no respect for head coach Erik ten Hag, and also responded harshly to his former teammate Wayne Rooney.

Ronaldo returned to Manchester United in 2021. The 37-year-old striker has played 16 games for the club this season, with three goals and two assists.
