According to ESPN, Argentine forward Lionel Messi of Inter Miami will not participate in the upcoming MLS All-Star Game because of an injury. The league administration may decide to suspend the player for one match.
Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez will also be unable to join the event.

The match between the MLS All-Stars and the Mexican league's All-Stars is scheduled for July 23.
