Neymar will no longer play for Brazil in the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar

Brazilian national team forward Neymar won't play in the remaining matches of the group stage of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, according to journalist Dani Gil.

According to the source, the 30-year-old footballer is highly likely to miss the match against Switzerland. It is reported that Brazilian head coach Tite would prefer not to risk Neymar in the final group stage game against Cameroon as well.

Neymar is expected to be fit for the playoffs of the World Cup in Qatar.

Recall that Neymar injured his ankle in a collision with Serbian defender Nikola Milenković in the first round of the group stage and was replaced in the 79th minute of the meeting.

The Brazilian national team will play Switzerland in the second round of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar. The match will take place at the Stadium 974 on November 28, beginning at 19:00 GMT+3.
