Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford, currently on loan at Barcelona this season, recalled his time playing alongside the legendary striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
Recall that the Portuguese player returned to the Red Devils in the summer of 2021 and left the club amid controversy in November 2022.
Marcus Rashford, quoted by Fabrizio Romano
Cristiano is the player who represented his country the most. I was lucky to play with him. Watching him up close taught me what it means to stay at the top for so many years.
Last summer, Marcus Rashford moved from Manchester United to Barcelona on a one-year loan. The English player is a product of the Red Devils’ academy.
Recently, Rashford was named the best player of the first matchweek of the UEFA Champions League after scoring a brace against Newcastle United (2-1).
Currently, Barcelona sit second in the Spanish league standings with 19 points after eight matches.
