The UFC press service announced that No. 4 middleweight Reinier de Ridder will face No. 11 Brendan Allen in the main event of UFC Fight Night 262 on October 19 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada.
De Ridder’s original opponent was Anthony Hernandez, but Hernández withdrew from the bout due to injury. Brendan Allen last fought in July 2025 at UFC 318, beating Marvin Vettori by unanimous decision. Allen’s record stands at 25 wins and 7 losses.
Reinier de Ridder last competed in July 2025 at UFC on ABC, defeating Robert Whittaker by split decision. His record is 21 wins and 2 losses.
