
Legendary American wrestler Terry Gene Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, may have died due to a medical error, according to TMZ.
The source says an investigation into Hogan’s death is ongoing.
Earlier reports stated that the athlete died at 71 of cardiac arrest. His body was found at his home in Clearwater, Florida.
Hogan was one of the most recognizable figures in WWE and WCW history. In the 1980s and 1990s he became the symbol of professional wrestling: a multiple-time world champion and the central figure of iconic storylines and matches. Beyond wrestling, Hogan appeared in films and on television, including Mr. Nanny, Santa with Muscles, Thunder in Paradise, and various TV shows.
