Recall, the fight between Hill and Teixeira topped UFC 283, which took place on January 22 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The fight ended in favor of Jamahal by unanimous decision of the judges. Thus, the American became the new UFC light heavyweight champion.
Hill, 31, defeated Thiago Santos by TKO in the fourth round at UFC on ESPN 40 in August, 2022. He has 12 wins and one loss under his belt.
