The current UFC women's bantamweight titleholder Kayla Harrison commented on a hypothetical bout against the organization's former champion, Ronda Rousey.
That'd be some free money. Who is she going to fight? She's not going to fight Katie Taylor in boxing. If you said MMA, I'd say OK.
Earlier information emerged that Ronda might have a boxing match against undisputed junior welterweight world champion Katie Taylor.
Harrison last stepped into the octagon against Julianna Pena in June 2025 at UFC 316. Kayla won that fight via submission (armbar) in the second round and captured the UFC championship belt. Her MMA record stands at 19 wins and one loss.
Rousey last stepped into the octagon against the Brazilian Amanda Nunes in December 2016 at UFC 207. That fight, which was stopped in the first round, ended in a loss for Ronda by technical knockout. Her MMA record stands at 12 wins and two losses.
