UFC Wants Me to Fight with Belgaroui in October: Bekoev

UFC middleweight Azamat Bekoev gave an exclusive interview to Telecomasia.net explaining why he cannot fight Yousri Belgaroui at the upcoming event of Dana White’s league.

It’s true that Yousri Belgaroui withdrew from the fight due to issues with his work visa in the USA. The UFC wants us to fight in October at a numbered event in Abu Dhabi.

Originally, Bekoev was scheduled to face Torrez Finney, but the undefeated American middleweight had to withdraw from the event. UFC matchmakers have found Azamat a new opponent – Tunisian Yousri Belgaroui – but he is facing visa problems.

The 29-year-old Russian fighter has a record of 20 wins and three losses, with both of his fights in the UFC in 2025 ending in the first round.
