UFC featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski once again spoke to lightweight titleholder Islam Makhachev on social media about their possible bout.
"Are you a man of your word? Let's do it!" - Volkanovski wrote on Twitter.
The fight between Makhachev and Volkanovski can take place on February 14 at UFC 284, which is scheduled to take place in Australia. Alex has defended his featherweight championship title four times over three years. The last defense was against American Max Holloway last July at UFC 276. Alex won that fight by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 25 wins and one loss on his record in mixed martial arts.
