Spanish motorcycle racer Carles Falcon has suffered cardiac arrest after a crash during the second stage of the Dakar Rally.
A statement from the organizers initially reported that he was in a "critical condition". Later it became known that the athlete's condition is "critical but stable".
It is noted that Falcon was successfully resuscitated and hospitalized.
