Spanish Motorcyclist Carles Falcón Dies After Crash At Dakar 2024

TwinTrail Racing Team's press service has announced that their Spanish motorcycle racer Carles Falcón died as a result of injuries sustained after a crash at the Dakar2024.

This Monday, January 15, Carles left us. The medical team has confirmed neurological damage caused by cardiorespiratory arrest at the time of the accident is irreversible.

Recall, the athlete got into an accident on January 7, at the end of the second stage of the competition. Falcon received a lot of serious injuries, and also suffered cardiac arrest. It was reported that he suffered brain swelling, after which he was put in a medically induced coma.

Falcón was 45 years old and it was his second time competing in the Dakar Rally.
