Snooker: Neil Robertson wins English Open in a climatic affair

Neil Robertson staged a comeback to overcome John Higgins in an incredible English Open Final. Neil led Higgins 5-3 but the John showed his full guts and took an 8-6 lead. John took the lead after connecting on four frames in a row. In the decider, John couldn’t hit a red ball which gave Neil the game who finished well. Robertson lost to Judd Trump in the Finals of the English Open last year.

Neil Robertson, Snooker, Australia
It's an unbelievable feeling winning this tournament. I found something from somewhere and I seemed to play my best snooker towards the end of the match.
John Higgins, Snooker, Scotland
The last two finals I really do think shows I've not really got it at this level, Neil was unbelievable - what a player and what a champion. It was a great final to be involved in, I came out the loser again but every credit to him.
