Djokovic Has His 700th Hard Court Win, Chasing Federer's Record

World number one from Serbia Novak Djokovic showed the second result in the Open era, winning the 700th hard court match in his career in quarterfinals of the Australian Open against Taylor Fritz.

Recall that the Serbian tennis player beat Fritz with a score 7:6 (7:3), 4:6, 6:2, 6:3 and made it to the semifinals of the Australian Open.

Thus, Djokovic had his 700th hard court victory, coming close to achieving the 20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer, who won 783 matches.

It should be noted that the Swiss athlete retired in 2022 and later stated that he no longer needed tennis.
