Canadian rapper Drake placed another large bet on world No. 1 Jannik Sinner. He announced wagering $300,000 on the Italian to win the 2025 US Open.
The defending champion has been progressing confidently through the draw: in the fourth round he defeated Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan 6–1, 6–1, 6–1. In the quarterfinals Sinner will face fellow Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the world No. 10.
Drake previously backed Sinner at the 2025 Australian Open, a winning pick when Sinner beat Alexander Zverev to claim the title.
