Nick Kyrgios Withdraws From US Open 2025 Due to Injury

Australian Nick Kyrgios, 2022 Wimbledon finalist, has withdrawn from the 2025 US Open because of ongoing injury issues.

Kyrgios also pulled out of the Cincinnati Masters event earlier. He skipped the clay-court season and then withdrew from grass events, including Wimbledon.

The US Open main draw was made on August 21, revealing first-round opponents. The tournament runs from August 24 to September 7.

The reigning singles champions are Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka.
