Tennis Player Moutet Claims Opponent Made Death Threat During Match

French tennis player Corentin Moutet has accused Russian player Pavel Kotov of making a death threat during their match at a Challenger tournament in Aix-en-Provence, France.

The match, part of the round of 16, was interrupted due to power outage, and at the time of the stoppage, the score was 5-7, 6-3, 5-5 in the deciding third set.

Corentin Moutet on his X.com account, quoting Kotov
The next time you come to the net, I will kill you... One day someone will kill you.

It is important to note that Moutet later deleted his post, but his statements were tagged by the Avantage Tennis account.
