Youth softball umpire Kristie Moore said that she was assaulted by an angry parent during the game between MVP and South Select District in an Under-12 scenario. It happened when a player's mother didn't agree with one of decisions by Moore and started hurling slurs at her which caused the subsequent assault. Kristie has gotten a black eye while there are scratches under her eyes.
