Denver Nuggets vs Chicago Bulls Prediction: Elite Nuggets take on spiritless Bulls

The NBA saga has moved on to its closing stages and this has been an amazing ride thus far. As we head towards the last quarter of action, each game rises up in value. This is because the top-six playoff spots and four spots in the Play-in tournament are at stake. For some teams, these concerns are irrelevant considering their red-hot play. One of those teams, the Denver Nuggets is going to take on Chicago Bulls.

Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets enter the game after defeating the Raptors 118:113 on the back of a 24 points performance by Jamal Murray. The Nuggets have now won four in a row and eight wins in nine games. This has been the template for most parts and the Nuggets have taken what appears to be an unassailable position on the top position of the West. They have 46 wins and 19 losses, being eight wins ahead of the second-ranked team, the Kings/the Grizzlies. The Nuggets have one of the best records in the league which once again underscores how badly Jokic needed Porter jr. and Murray to bolster the lineup on both ends.

Chicago Bulls

The Bulls enter the fray after losing 122:125 against the Pacers despite a 42 points performance by Zach LaVine. The Bulls have three losses in four games and in an extended window, they have compiled nine losses in 12 games. This has derailed their already below-average campaign and they have 36 losses and 29 wins. They are in the eleventh place, one position away from the Play-in tournament and their play suggests they may not make it there. The duo of DeRozan and LaVine for all their big numbers, has failed to leave an impression ever since Lonzo Ball has been injured and time maybe up for both of them here during the offseason.

Expert Betting Tips

The Bulls have played some poor basketball all season long and are unable to sustain their effort in either high-scoring or low-scoring affairs. The Nuggets have been relentless throughout the season and barely give a chance to their oppositions. This is why, at home, against a weakened unit, I favor the Nuggets like most bookmakers and prediction-makers. I predict a scoreline of 130:116 in their favor.
