The Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22 spring season in Western Europe will start in several days, on March 14. As usual, the regional league will last for a month and a half, but now there will be no regional finals but a spring major at the end. Valve has already announced this tournament. Europe is still one of the most competitive regions. There are at least six teams that can fight for victory in the season and the way to the major. Determining which teams will be the best beforehand is impossible, however, we can make some assumptions. The league format
The second Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22 season in Western Europe will last for six weeks, that is till the end of April. During this time, each team will have seven matches in a best-of-3 format. It turns out that the teams will have one or two series per week. The first match of the league will be held on March 14 at 16:00. The match between Team Liquid and Team Secret will open the championship. At the end of the season, the four strongest teams will go to the spring major.
- 1st place — to the playoff;
- 2nd place — to the group stage;
- 3rd place — to WildCard;
- 4th place — to WildCard.
The teams in fifth and sixth places will retain the right to play in the first division, but those in seventh and eighth places will lose it. They will move to the second division.
The league prize fund
The prize fund of the Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22 second season is $205,000. This sum is evenly distributed between the eight teams. So, there is no point in fighting for money within the league: all teams will get approximately the same amount. The fight will be only for DPC points. If a club has enough DPC points at the end of the year, it will receive a direct invite to The International 10. Within the league, money and points are distributed as follows.

The league participants
Eight teams take part in the first division of the Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22 spring season in Europe. Six of them can be called the favorites: Team Liquid, Tundra Esports, OG, Team Secret, Nigma Galaxy, Gladiators. Two other teams come from the second division, they are unlikely to cause much trouble to the favorites, but do not underestimate them. We are talking about Entity and Brame.

The first matches of the DPC spring season in Europe
The second DPC season in Western Europe will start in several days. The league's schedule already includes the first five games, which will be played from March 14 to 19. Let's try to determine who is the favorite in these confrontations.
