The stadium, named after the Côte d'Ivoire legend Laurent Pokou, is a 20,000 capacity stadium situated in the south-west of Côte d'Ivoire. It will play host to a number of matches at the AFCON, such as:

Ex Ivorian Prime Minister, Amadou Gon Coulibaly, named the stadium, which is in the town of Korhogo, north of Côte d'Ivoire, after himself. It is a new stadium with an average seating capacity of 20,000. It will host most of the Group E matches at the AFCON 2024.
