Smart Communications has rolled out an expanded network of customer care channels for its 50 million subscribers in the Philippines.

First, it recently unveiled Accredited Sales Centers (ASCs)—Smart retail hubs in selected locations across the country to service subscriber requests and inquiries. It is set to open about 50 more outlets in key areas this year.

“We are happy to provide our customers with more ways to reach us, wherever they are, and whenever they wish,” said Florante T. Jimenez, Smart sales and distribution head. “This underscores our commitment to total customer satisfaction—providing millions of Filipinos with a wide and accessible selection of Smart channels for all their communication needs.”

The ASCs are seen to complement the existing network of Smart Stores and Smart Money Centers and various Smart’s self-service channels available via mobile and the worldwide web.

ASCs may also accept payments for Smart’s postpaid offerings and services of partner billers, which include Meralco, Maynilad and Manila Water.

“The ASCs were also designed to benefit our growing number of business partners all over the country, by providing them with Smart’s pioneering products and platforms that will help improve and expand their service delivery. We are optimistic that this partnership will be instrumental in our campaign to enhance overall customer experience,” Jimenez added.
