Enfora's Enabler III BGA offers a GSM/GPRS wireless platform for automotive applications.
The Enabler III platform is designed to address the requirements for extended operating temperature, vibration tolerance and CAN bus compatibility in vehicle applications.
Enfora's platform comes in a 224-pin BGA hardware package that is designed to be more easily integrated into an end device, and that supports interfaces to a variety of peripherals such as camera and Bluetooth devices, along with SD and USB memory components.
Enfora has previously been granted Parts Warrant Submission by carmaker Jaguar for its Spider MT product, which is based on the Enabler platform.
The Enabler III BGA is among ten separate Enfora wireless platforms, which passed AT&T certification to operate on its data network.
