Forbes magazine published a list of the highest paid basketball players in the National Basketball Association (NBA) in 2023. LeBron James, the leader of the Los Angeles Lakers, topped the list.
According to Forbes, LeBron James earned $117.6 million dollars in 2023.
Besides LeBron, the top 5 on the list are Stephen Curry ($101.9 million), Kevin Durant ($91.4 million), Giannis Adetokunbo ($85.6 million) and Damian Lillard ($63.6 million).
LeBron is a four-time NBA champion and has been selected for the first team of the NBA All-Star game 13 times. In 2019, he has already been recognized as the league's highest-paid player according to Forbes. At the end of the 2022/23 season, he was selected for the third NBA All-Star team.
On the night of February 8, 2023, LeBron James scored 38 points in a home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder and became the highest scoring player in NBA history.
