
Undisputed world champion in the super bantamweight division, famous Japanese boxer Naoya Inoue, is set to have at least two fights before the end of 2025. This was reported by The Ring.
According to the publication, Inoue is scheduled to face Mexican Ramón Cárdenas on May 4 in Las Vegas, and if victorious, he will step into the ring against Uzbek boxer Murodjon Akhmadaliev in Tokyo on September 14.
Inoue's last fight was against Ye Joon Kim in January of this year in Tokyo, Japan.Naoya won that match by knockout in the fourth round, successfully retaining his title as the undisputed world champion.
Inoue made his professional debut in October 2012 against Filipino Crison Omayao. That fight, also stopped in the fourth round, ended with a knockout victory for Naoya. He boasts an impressive record of 29 wins (26 by knockout) and no losses.
