Liverpool have shown strong interest in Spain and Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirming this.
The 25-year-old is thought to have a release clause of £52 million ($66 million) in his contract and is also among the midfield options being considered by Manchester United, while Arsenal are long-term admirers.
Zubimendi was part of Spain's Euro 2024-winning squad. He played in the final group game against Albania and also came on as a substitute in the final after Rodri's injury. Liverpool's midfield has been weakened by Thiago's retirement and the previous sales of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho in previous transfer windows.
