Argentina's 35-year-old forward Lionel Messi has revealed his three favorites for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar following group stage matches.
Argentina qualified from the group and then beat Australia 2-1 in the round of 16. Messi scored a goal. Argentina will face the Netherlands in the quarterfinals.

Brazil is playing very well. It remains one of the favorites right now, despite the loss to Cameroon. So is France. Spain is playing very well, despite the way things turned out. But they made the playoffs with a clear understanding of what they do when they control the ball for long stretches of the match.
Argentina will face the Netherlands on December 9 at 22:00 GMT+3. Brazil will play against South Korea on December 5 at 22:00 in the round of 16, and Spain will play Morocco on December 6 at 18:00 in the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup.
