According to RMC Sport, on May 12, Paris Saint-Germain filed an application with the court to lift the 55 million euros of seizure money that former striker Mbappe demanded from the club.
According to sources, Mbappe successfully enforced the seizure order in early April 2025, claiming that the club owed him unpaid wages and bonuses.
At the hearing, Paris Saint-Germain's lawyers said that Mbappe did not provide convincing evidence to support his request to pay the club.
In addition, Paris Saint-Germain also filed a counterclaim of 98 million euros, claiming that Mbappe owed the club money for reputational damage.
The club clarified that the purpose of the lawsuit was not to recover 98 million euros, but to prove that the player owed the club money and that his claim was unreasonable.
Recently, Mbappe was booed by fans of Real Madrid, the club he currently plays for, during a game.
