Ireland-Zimbabwe third ODI to be played today

The Ireland-Zimbabwe women’s ODI series is tied at one apiece. Zimbabwe won the first ODI by four wickets while Ireland stormed back to win the second one by a margin of 80 runs. The series contains four matches overall so the team that wins the game can’t at least lose it.

Laura Delany leads all scorers with 123 runs while Mary-Anne Musonda is at third with 107 runs, courtesy of a not-out hundred knock in the first match. Cara Murray leads all the wicket-takers with five wickets at an average of 20.60. Josephine Nkomo has been stellar for Zimbabwe, claiming three wickets at an average of 26.33. Shauna Kavanaugh who is returning from injury after a long time has bagged a couple of 30+ scorers, holding the innings balance in the middle-order.
