Studio 405 Films has acquired the rights to create a biopic about former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira from Brazil. The film, directed by Eduardo Ferrer, will be shot in Las Vegas and Brazil, detailing Oliveira's journey from his childhood in the favelas of São Paulo to winning the UFC championship in 2021.

Recall that on June 29 in Las Vegas, Charles Oliveira will compete against Ilia Topuria for the vacant lightweight championship title in the main event of UFC 317.
Topuria last fought in the octagon in October 2024 at UFC 308, knocking out Max Holloway in the third round, bringing his record to 16 wins and no losses.
Oliveira's most recent fight was in November 2024 at UFC 309, where he defeated Michael Chandler by unanimous decision. He has a record of 35 wins and ten losses, with one fight declared a no-contest.
