DRX defeats T1 to win the 2022 World Championship

In the early morning of November 6, the final of the 2022 World Championship on League of Legends came to an end.

DRX managed to defeat T1 3-2 in the decisive confrontation to take the championship title. The winning team's top laner, Hwang Seong-hoon "Kingen", was the most productive player.

DRX also took home $489,500 in prize money as the winner. T1 took home $333,75 thousand.

The 2022 World League of Legends Championship took place from September 29 to November 5 in four different locations - San Francisco, Atlanta, New York City and Mexico City. The teams competed for a prize pool of $2.25 million.
