The modular multi-service platform sports new functionality such as both the Sync-E and IEEE 1588-2008 synchronization standards, a 10G switch module and a multiport DS-3 module.
The platform now also provides operation, administration and maintenance (OAM) monitoring features at the node, link and service levels, with support for the IEEE 802.1ag fault management standard.
